This full symphonic ensemble is open by audition to interested young string, wind, brass, and percussion players. Students audition in late August or early September. If a need arises, additional tryouts may be held in January. Participants rehearse weekly and perform at least one to two concerts each semester in Bloomington and surrounding counties.
