August 16 (Sat): deadline for concerto competition application (by midnight--postmark for regular mail, deadline for email)

August 23/24 (Sat/Sun) 2008: auditions, MA106, time TBD

August 30 (Saturday): MAYO Concerto Competition (time, place TBD)

September 8 (Monday): firs t rehearsal, BHSN

November 15 (Saturday): Deadline for composition competition

Nov 22/23 MAYO winter concert

January 12 (Monday): first orchestra rehearsal, BHSN

January 19 (Monday): MLK Day—composition competition playoffs, live

March 16-23: MCCSC/IU spring break
