The Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington and Ellettsville and the Musical Arts Youth Orchestra announce a unique partnership for the 2011-12 season. This unique partnership allows MAYO to provide quality music making opportunities through an in-kind gift of rehearsal space. Marie-Elise Needleman, a graduate student at the Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music, leads string training classes at the Boys & Girls Club on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. The two semester string training ended in March. Students participated in a recital for their families.
