Seating Auditions are around the corner. Are you ready? This year, we will hold auditions in Bedford, Bloomington, Monrovia and Terre Haute. Auditions will determine your seat and section in one of three ensembles (and in some cases, more than one ensemble) - Concertina, Symphony, and Sinfonia (by invitation only). What can you do to be prepared? Check out the excerpts section of Seating Auditions to find out what you can practice. Also, prepare some scales and your favorite solo or contrasting sections of two solos. You only have 10 minutes in an audition, so be prepared to only play a section of your piece. Bloomington auditions will be held in MA107 - thanks to Professor Edmund Cord. Practice rooms will be nearby! Online auditions are available - and this year, we also are offering the opportunity to review your current registration data so you don't have to fill out so many forms!
